Los Angeles – Business Analyst (Oracle)

A large corporation in the south of LA are looking for a Business Analyst with at least 5 years Oracle DB experience.

Working within Oracle’s Supply Chain & MRP modules to be able to deliver specifications to & from the client.

1. Work with the organization to design and implement new business processes.

2. Provide expertise in multiple Oracle functional areas such as Financials, Manufacturing, Projects, Procurement, Supply Chain, Order Management, HRMS and OTL.

3. Provide support to business units and work with the IT team to resolve critical issues.

4. Identify, document and expedite resolution of Oracle functionality issues. Track and expedite Oracle SR (Service Requests) and assist with the planning and testing of updates and patches.

5. Configure Oracle Module as needed and develop/maintain functional specifications for customization

6. Coordinate testing of system and business processes.

7. Plan and conduct regression tests, user acceptance tests, and roll-outs.

8. Work with other members of IT to define and test system security parameters including: responsibilities, request sets, and system access.

9. Implement functional/configuration changes associated with change/enhancement requests according to governance process.

10. Develop and maintain training materials, job aides, and conduct end user training.

11. Performs any other duties that may be assigned by the supervisor.

The right candidate must have great communication skills, Articulate, as well as confident but easy going. You also need to have a technical mind as you will also be required to train or write Oracle training schedules at times.
