Los Angeles – Global Technology Product Manufacturer seeking User Interface Engineers

A leading manufacturer of premier, state-of-the-art audio, video, communications and information technology products and one of the most recognized and respected brand names in the world has immediate openings for talented User Interface engineers to assist with development on an exciting, cutting edge eBook project.

The primary role for this position will be to work on the development of web applications.  Specifically, this person will be responsible for defining a consistent and efficient user experience/user interface across the application.  This includes static UI mockups as well as hands on front-end coding and working with device code and browser code.

Responsibilties

• Integrating the user interface as designs into web-based templates
• Expertise with CSS, HTML and Javascript
• Very strong with AJAX
• Use JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as YUI, EXT JS, and jQuery to create interactive interfaces

Requirements

• 5+ years experience defining web based user interfaces
• 5+ years hands on writing of HTML, Javascript, CSS, XML and XSLT
• 2+ years using an existing UI library such as jQuery, EXT or YUI
