Our client is a Fortune 100 company and one of largest insurance companies in the world. They are also one of the most stable companies in the financial industry; they have maintained their AAA credit rating and are not taking part in any government-sponsored financial assitance program.
This team is tasked with building a brand-new application for the company’s sales agents to provide them with customer’s account information, price out new policies, calculate rates, and other information pertinant to the insurance business.
The application is being built in PHP, and they use Oracle as the database. This PHP developer will need to have experience with Oracle, and some type of experience in the financial industry. Any experience working on accounting or billing systems is a huge plus for the role, as well. You should have at least 3-5 years of experience as a PHP developer.
This is a consulting role, lasting through to the end of 2009, and likely into 2010.
