Job Description:
Network and Website Administration, Telephony – Supervise IT manager and lead the situation
in managing corporate network activities and website maintenance. Responsible for all server-related
problems being resolved promptly and efficiently. Responsible in all e-mail accounts, setting up desktop/laptops,
and updating company phone lists and e-mail addresses. Responsible in routing for seating assignments and
responsible in telephone changes and accuracy of updated phone list.
Internal Infrastructure Management – Supervise IT manager in monitoring, analizing, and give suggestion
in finding ways to improve existing systems. Responsible in planning, developing, and implementing new systems
throughout the company.
Help Desk – Supervise and suggest better way of company Help Desk operation and resolves escalated issues promptly.
Supervise and lead IT manager for the technical training programs and provides additional support when necessary.
Internal Systems – Responsible for IT team in managing system backups, archiving, and disaster recovery
and provides expert support when necessary. Works closely with related department to implement internal infrastructure systems.
Responsible in creating and maintaining databases as needed.
Asset Management – Supervise, Lead, Responsible for all IT-related purchasing and budget usage,
departmental budget usage, and inventory; works with Accounting Dept to develop budgets.
Responsible and lead in deciding which software and hardware products and other equipment are most suited
for use within company’s infrastructure.
New Hire Administration (IT) – Responsible as a supervisor and lead the situation in creating network and
email accounts, setting up laptops/desktops, and updating company phone lists and email address books.
Termination Administration (IT) – Responsible as a supervisor and lead the situation in terminating the account
including deactivating terminated/resigned employee’s password and network access, set up e-mail auto transfer,
collecting laptops/desktops and cellular phones from terminating/resigning employees, updating company phone lists and e-mail address books.
Image Quality – Responsible in monitoring the qualities of stored images. Proofread image captions, monitor quality of archived images,
and provide assistance to employees with regard to digital images as necessary.
*Additionally, perform other duties as required and assume other responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
Minimum Experience Requirements:
At least 7 years of combined experience in various Information Technology fields such as Network Administration,
Helpdesk(trouble shooting) and management of Helpdesk members, Database Development, Digital Imaging,
Web Publishing, Image Reading, and/or working with visual software.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Technical:
Must have proficiency in Digital Photography, good knowledge in the database FileMaker Pro, and working knowledge
in general office equipment such as phones, fax, copier, personal computer, typewriter, scanner, ten-key calculator,
Software includes Windows & Mac operating system, Adobe software and MS Office.
Non-Technical :
Must have strong project management skills, research and analysis skills, knowledge, skills and abilities in such areas as
accounting, accuracy, attendance & punctuality, attention to detail, listening & understanding, simple math, office equipment usage,
oral & written English & Japanese communication, problem-solving, system analysis, technical communication,
managing IT team members, working & cooperating with others.
Minimum Education Requirements:
Must have Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in a relevant field; or equivalent combination
of education and related experience.
Job Related Certification:
Certification in Adobe software, Microsoft, Network Administration, Database are highly desired.Our client
Our client is an international art-focused organization. They are looking for an IT Manager to run all of the technology in their New York City office.

The environment consists of both Windows PCs and Macs. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years experience in technology. Proficiency in the Adobe CS and familiarity with Digital Photography are big pluses. A degree in Computer Science and/or certifications in Adobe, Microsoft, or Network Administration are desired. Any knowledge of Japanese will be important as well.
