New York – Lead Developer with Front-End JavaScript Exp.

Our client is a premier New York interactive agency. They are seeking a lead front-end developer with leadership and management experience. The focus of this job will be hands-on development. In addition to the development and architecture of web applications you will the lead the technical development process and implementations. This candidate should have experience working with JavaScript, CSS 2, JQuery, HTML/DHTML and XML/XSLT. Other web technologies and platforms include Web and Application Servers (WebLogic, WebSphere, ETC.) and 3rd party software such as CMS and CRM’s. The candidate must have a strong understanding of Object Oriented Design and Service Oriented Design. Our client focuses on the delivery of websites and web application solutions for fortune 1000 clients.

This candidate should be comfortable in a lead development role to include staff management and heavy client interaction and presentation. A BS in computer science or engineering is a must. You should be comfortable managing full life cycle web projects and managing project resources. Frameworks, application architecture technical deliverables will also be required. Because our clients work is project driven this person will travel to clients sites (minimal and local) and present technical solutions. A lead developer with strong communication and presentation skills will be ideal candidate that is coming from an agency model. The job will have deadlines and high pressure project plans.

The job is based in our clients New York City headquarters. This is fulltime job with a salary in the range of 90-110k. It will include full benefits and a comprehensive compensation package. The candidate should have 5-7 years Front-End web application experience with 2 years in a management or leadership position.
