One of the world’s largest credit-oriented alternative asset managers as well as a subsidiary of a prominent New York City hedge fund is seeking two .NET/SQL developers to join their development team.  The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of professional experience working for a financial service firm with the latest .NET and SQL Server technologies.  The company will also hire candidates that are entry-level and have a top tier BS degree in Computer Science. Strong communication skills are a must have, as well as quantitative skills, self-motivation, and consistently demonstrating professionalism and academic success in one’s past endeavors.  This opportunity offers the chance to be part of a small dedicated software development team to build and enhance a diverse list of front, middle and back office applications used to support a buy-side business on the Microsoft Platform.  You are expected to work independently and will be consistently challenged.

TECHNOLOGY REQUIREMENTS:

• C#

As part of the flagship development staff, candidates will be exposed to the latest Microsoft development technologies. Candidates should have professional experience writing code with both .NET and SQL. Our client will offer a full compensation package that will include base salary (100 – 140k depending on experience), full benefits, bonus, paid training and vacation and 401k match.
