Our New York-based client is one of the premier sources of online news and intelligence for top executives within the financial industry.  Their profitable content-based website delivers niche subscriptions specific to mutual funds, investment management, and retail investment platforms.  They urgently are seeking a full-time Senior PHP Developer ($110K+) to help with the launch of a new publication.

About you:

• At least 5 years of experience developing websites and applications using object-oriented PHP 5, XML, Ajax and MySQL in LAMP environment
• MVC framework knowledge- Zend a plus
• Experience with at least one major programming language- Python, Java, Ruby, etc.
• Passionate about coding and new technologies
• BA/BS in Computer Science or related field, MS a plus

 Responsibilities:

• Building websites with UIs and mobile content
• Working within a team environment
• Writing complex SQL queries
• Troubleshooting/debugging
