Our client is a leading financial services firm based in New York City; they are seeking a senior software engineer to join their Innovations technology team. The job requires candidates to have a strong professional foundation in Microsoft technologies; C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server. In addition to these back-end Microsoft technologies, any experience with JavaScript, AJAX and JQuery would be a strong plus.
Working in the product development team candidates will work on all layers of the application and be part of a collaborative team of software engineers. Our client builds complex financial models used by many of today’s top financial institutions and banks. As a software engineer for this company you must possess strong communication skills and have the ability to communicate with business analyst and non-technical executives.
REQUIRED:
- 3-5 years’ experience with C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server, and Web Services
- Experience with front-end technologies: AJAX, jQuery, JavaScript
- Degree from top-tiered college/university
- Highly motivated, entrepreneurial mentality and strong desire to learn
- Any financial services or banking application knowledge
- Enterprise Web application experience
