NY – RoR Front End developer for Large Media Sites

A large client of ours is hunting for 2 Ruby on Rails (RoR) developers for a long term contract through the end of 2010.  This position requires someone with strong media experience working on highly visible, highly scalable web sites.  The portal of sites receives almost 800 hits per minute.  This is primarily a LAMP environment; the service layer is PHP, with a MySQL Backend and Drupal 6 as the primary CMS.  The team consist of 7 developers, a Project Manager and the VP of Engineering.

This contract pays on a corp to corp or 1099 through the end of 2010.
