New Jersey – Senior JAVA / J2EE Software Engineer for International Media Co.

Our client is a world leader in business news, providing real-time financial market coverage and business information to millions of homes worldwide. We are seeking a Senior JAVA / J2EE Developer to build a video workflow tool. This video player will be used by internal editors to update and stream news content via the Web. This person will be involved in all aspects of the SDLC to include the architecture and development of this video product. The right candidate will have strong communication skills and be comfortable working with various business teams. Knowledge of video workflow based tools using JAVA Technologies will merit first consideration. Must have experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

This is a 6 month consulting assignment with the opportunity for an extension. The salary range for this job will be between 55/hr – 75/hr depending on experience.

Requirements:

JAVA / J2EE, design and development of a video workflow tool.

Implement architectural solutions to improve the overall performance of the video player.

Lead production support efforts
