Jersey City – Front-End Web Developer – Contract – $50/hr

Our client is a prominent online financial brokerage located in Jersey City, NJ. They’re looking for a front-end web developer consultant to join their Client-Side Development team to work on a redesign of their main trading website. This is a contract opportunity, with the initial contract duration being 9-12mos. to start. Potential for extension or conversion at that time. Rate is commensurate with experience.

The ideal candidate possesses the following skillset:

Required:

-HTML

-CSS

-can hand-code JavaScript

-jQuery

-AJAX

-has consumer/public-facing website development experience

Desired:

-HTML5

-CSS3

-financial services experience

-online brokerage experience

Our client is a large, well known media/news publication based in midtown Manhattan. They’re looking for a front-end web developer consultant to help redesign their main website. The contract will start at 3-6 months, depending on experience, and has strong potential for extension.

Technology desired includes: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, WordPress CMS

In addition to the above listed technologies, a presentable, professional demeanor is required. Agency experience is preferred. Web site development experience is a must.
