Our client is a prominent online financial brokerage located in Jersey City, NJ. They’re looking for a front-end web developer consultant to join their Client-Side Development team to work on a redesign of their main trading website. This is a contract opportunity, with the initial contract duration being 9-12mos. to start. Potential for extension or conversion at that time. Rate is commensurate with experience.

The ideal candidate possesses the following skillset:

You: A front end developer / user-experience architect.

Working with creative design and technology teams, you’ll be architecting and defining the presentation layer framework for a major, high-end brand. You’ll take new features from the design stage through the production process, maintain their existing e-commerce environment, and work with your team to develop innovative solutions to e-commerce challenges and put those solutions into play. Must-have technical skills for this position include HTML, CSS3, CMS (Adobe), Ajax and JSON, and a serious knowledge of JavaScript. Plusses include e-commerce experience and excellent communication skills.
