Our client is a software development firm, backed by Silicon Valley veterans and entrepreneurs with a history of success, whose patent-pending branded-content broadcasting platform is generating excitement among major advertisers that are looking to go beyond online display ads. They enable brands to engage consumers with interesting content rather than interrupt them with banners. Their goal is to enable brands and consumers to ultimately connect in a more meaningful way, and this is done in the platform through such features as a contextual matching engine, auto-optimization algorithm, site indexing system, and various administration panels. This is a great start, but there is still a lot of great technology that is still being dreamed of right now, and that’s where you come in… they are located in Long Beach, CA.

They’re looking for an experienced .NET engineer (utilizing C#) who can help them develop and scale their platform, and who would enjoy working with large volumes of data on a daily basis. Data structures and algorithms would come as second nature to their ideal engineer, but they also would value someone with strong front-end design/development skills that can render all this data.

REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Work with other developers to develop and build systems on their .NET 4.0 platform using advanced techniques,
tools and utilities.
· 2-5 years’ experience developing applications on the Microsoft.NET framework using C#
· Extensive experience with development across all application layers- from data, to business logic, to user interface
development
· Understanding of good development practices and code design, and knowledge of proper use and implementation
of design patterns (creational, procedural, etc) and software architectures (SOA, Data-centric, MVC, MVVM)
· 2-5 years’ experience working with Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL or other relational database software. This includes
experience creating efficient and effective data models in high-transaction environments, writing complex queries,
stored procedures and UDFs. Experience with NO-SQL implementations a huge plus.
· Proficiency building multi -tier, data-driven applications for the web. This includes knowledge of web frameworks,
client-server architecture, web protocols (such as HTTP) and familiarity with client-side languages such as HTML and
JavaScript
· Experience developing web services and service-oriented applications and must be able to have a strong sense of
what is a great application and what is a poor application
· Must be highly productive and know how to efficiently get something from concept to completion
· Experience with open source technologies a plus
· Comfort working in an agile-based team environment with a start-up culture

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree or combination of relevant education and experience

They are in need of a strong Technical Project Manager/Scrum Master is to play the role of Scrum Master for their Entertainment Assets Global Library (EAGL) project team. EAGL is a custom-built digital asset management (DAM) system used by many studio groups to store, manage and distribute marketing and other digital materials. This person will be joining a high-performing team of software developers and digital media specialists within the studio’s Digital Media Group
(DMG), whose mission is to research, develop and maintain digital media services that enable internal units to more effectively and securely create, manage, distribute and monetize their assets.

Responsibilities
