We are seeking a highly skilled director of Web Application development and eCommerce applications. Our customer is a premier SAAS financial services company that provides many banks, credit unions and other financial institutions the premier online banking product in the industry. With 5 locations and over 500 employees our client is defining the online banking process and calls many of the world’s top institutions customers.

The director of web application development must be a hands-on manager that has a passion for technology and has grown there career as a developer. You will be managing a team 7-10 engineers that includes JAVA programmers, Front-End development and Quality Assurance. You will be responsible for software architecture, full life-cycle development, design of specifications while mentioning and training your staff.

This job will be based in the company’s Princeton, NJ office. The right person for the job will have a computer science degree and have started their career as a programmer. You should be interested in the latest technologies and methodologies and have the ability to move into new areas outside of your experience. Our client will be building mobile solutions and implementing a Cloud solution in the future.  Candidates should have 5-7 years programming experience and 2-3 years a manager. While the candidate may not be required to write any code they should be comfortable working closely with developers.
