This position is for an INTERACTIVE PM – Our client builds some of the most high traffic, high visibility interactive websites in the business and is looking to bring on a new PM to facilitate their projects. As a Digital Project Manager, you will manage the entire project lifecycle to deliver comprehensive digital solutions to our client base. In addition to excelling in scope, time and budget management, Project Managers also must possess a thorough understanding of digital development in all its forms (design, IXD, content, UI development,engineering and quality assurance) and the ability to facilitate dialog that represents our company’s development efforts and methodologies to clients.

Responsibilities:

* Run point on several projects at once, managing all communications, scope, timeline and budget
* Develop and communicate project performance throughout development to all stakeholders
* Maintain and update all project plan documentation from initiation to execution
* Leading cross-functional teams to deliver high quality deliverables on time and on budget
* Working as a member of an interactive development team researching and executing emerging solutions
* Developing detailed project plans and collecting client information for development
* accurately identify and mitigate project risk, forecast development timelines and budget accordingly.
* Facilitating communication among team members – internally and with the client – via regular team meetings and the project website

Skills/Requirements:

* Project Management certification and/or 3-5 years experience with formal project management methodologies, including various forms of project documentation.
* Extensive experience managing projects involving website development, video, mobile sites, apps, social media and etc.
* Excellent writing skills and ability to produce enough project documentation, business requirements documentation and functional specifications to drive successful development.
* Candidate must possess an understanding of basic site usability and architecture principles.
* Some previous experience withfacilitating projects involving content management systems, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Flash and otherweb technologies.
* Experience in a digital agency a plus
* Must have experience in a range of client management situations (i.e. multiple industries and corporate structures, projects of varying duration and complexity).

Our client is one of the largest publishing companies for children’s books and educational technology is seeking a Producer for the Education Technology Division. This high visibility software product is proprietary and helps teachers manage their classroom interactions and initiatives – really bringing education to the future. As a producer, you will be expected to manage the relationships with both the business stakeholders and technology teams. The developers are working in a JAVA environment. Experience working throughout the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in an agile environment are must have skills.

TECHNOLOGY REQUIREMENTS:

The premier provider of financial information, services and trading technology is seeking a Scrum Master for a contract position. Working on a web project, as the scrum master you will be expected to do the story development, backlog management, sprint planning, sprint tracking, daily stand-ups and sprint reviews. Candidates must be competent with formalized scrum process. While having experience with business analysis or product management in your background is fine, this position will solely focus on project management and scrum/agile implementation on web initiatives.

New York – Pharma Project Manager/Producer – $110k

My client, an established mobile marketing company, is seeking a Project Manager / Producer for a contract to hire role in their Lower Manhattan headquarters. The ideal candidate for this position will have two to five years of digital experience. At least three year of pharma experience is required. While this mobile marketing company has clients in all industries, this project manager will be focused on working with pharma clients. Having experience with mobile web or mobile applications is preferred. A marketing and advertising background is preferred. You will be working with one main client on multiple mobile web and web services initiatives. Candidates should have experience managing projects throughout the entire development lifecycle. Candidates must have experience working on complex digital projects, such as customized mobile apps or website builds. The team will be about 6-8 people consisting of other project managers and digital executives. You will also be partnering with an account manager, an off-shore development team and designers. Agile experience is strongly preferred.
