Talener was created as a contract-based technology staffing firm in New York City in 2007. Over the past two decades, the team has expanded beyond NYC into major tech hubs across the country, including Boston, LA, San Francisco, DC Metro, and Chicago. Today, our team works with job seekers and companies locally and remotely across the United States to fill both technical and non-technical jobs. 

The Position
Talener is hiring entry-level Technical Recruiters on-site in our midtown Manhattan and downtown Boston offices.

You will learn how to become a recruiter from the ground up. As you hit training milestones, you will progress from pure candidate sourcing/recruitment to client interaction/delivery, and finally into a full-desk account management role impacting every aspect of the recruiting, delivery and business development cycle. 
 
Requirements
  • Demonstrate a proven interest in sales through academic clubs, leadership roles or previous work experience / internship
  • Goal-oriented mindset that thrives at meeting specific performance targets
  • Persistence while working through obstacles and objections
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including phone calls, video conferencing (Zoom, Teams, etc.), and email
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Reader 
  • Ability to learn new recruiting software platforms, and navigate LinkedIn and other social media platforms
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
The Offer
  • Base Salary: $50,000-$60,000
  • Structured commission plan based on specific personal results
