Our client is a leading machine manufacturer and is looking to hire a Service Director for their Houston office. This role is a mix of management (team of 4 managers and 35 Field Service Engineers) working with customers on escalated issues and working with the executive team on KPI’s to improve service. This role requires about 40% travel in the central US and when not travelling, onsite in the Houston office. The ideal candidate will have experience working for a manufacturing firm.

Responsibilities:
- Manage training for all service engineers based upon client demand
- Develop plan to increase profit and revenue generation
- Manage escalation cases with key customers
- Utilize KPIs tools to track progress, analyze outcomes, and drive continuous improvement
- Implement strategies to optimize service operations, reducing costs and improving quality
- Present updates to executives on billing, response time, and efficiency
- Negotiate service and spare parts agreements with customers
- Oversee regial supplies of service tooling
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in Service within the manufacturing space
- 2+ years of experience in a leadership position
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office-Excel, PowerPoint etc.
- Ability to present data and KPIs to executive team
- Ability to travel up to 40%
- CNC experience is a plus
- Bachelors degree is nice to have
Compensation:
- $120,000-140,000
