Required Technology and Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related STEM field
  • Strong SQL experience 
  • Strong understanding of concepts in computer programming
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills and ability to interact directly with clients 
  • Ability to learn quickly and pick up proprietary software 
  • Previous experience in a client support / client services role 
 
Additional Skills: 
  • Previous experience leading and growing teams 
  • Knowledge of C#
  • Strong understanding of relational database architecture
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science
 
Benefits and Perks:
  • Short term contract to hire starting at $40 / hour 
  • Conversion to perm in the range of $80,000 base salary

Our client is a software company that has been providing their clients with business solutions for nearly 15 years. They create a software that helps their clients manage their business processes easier. They are a privately held and profitable organization. 
 
Additional Information:   
Our client is looking to hire an Lead Client Support Engineer to join on a temp to perm basis and lead and grow their Client Support team. This person must be technical and have a CS or related STEM degree and be able to pick up their proprietary software and work closely with application developers. The ideal person will have a strong knowledge of core software development fundamentals and have an extensive understanding of database structure to go along with prior experience in a client support / client services role. Communication and problem solving will be keys to success as this person will be the go to resource for clients dealing with issues and this is an extremely client facing role. The role will have you go through a 2 month training program on their proprietary software to get familiar with the environment and upon completion be converted to full-time work. This is a fully remote role but ideal applicants will be in the Greater Chicago Area in case needed in office.
