The Client: We are a remote support, screen-sharing, and co-browsing technology company. You will work on many of our core services. As a Lead macOS Developer your role will be pivotal in developing and enhancing our macOS applications, with a specific emphasis on User Experience, video streaming via WebRTC, and a deep understanding of operating system API’s. Job Title: Lead macOS Developer

Location: 100% Remote

Required Technology and Skills:

We are in search of a skilled and forward-thinking Lead macOS Developer who will take the lead in designing, developing, and maintaining our macOS applications. This role will be 85% IC and 15% management, as you will be asked to lead a small development team. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in macOS development in both Swift and Objective C, as well as some experience with C/C++, and/or WebRTC projects. This is a work-from home position.

Lead the complete development life cycle of several macOS applications, from conceptualization to deployment and ongoing maintenance.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including design, product management, and quality assurance to ensure successful product launches.
Design and architect efficient, scalable, and observable software for macOS.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of macOS developers, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
Establish coding standards, best practices, instrumentation, and development methodologies to ensure code quality and alignment with industry standards.
-Participate actively in code reviews to maintain high code quality, identify areas for improvement, and promote knowledge sharing.
Stay up to date with the latest developments in macOS, WebRTC, and related technologies, and incorporate them into the development process as appropriate.
Effectively troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to macOS development, collaborating with the team to find effective solutions.
Proven experience as a macOS developer, backed by a strong portfolio of successful macOS applications.
Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor developers within an Agile development environment.
Proficiency in Swift and Objective-C programming languages.
Strong understanding of macOS frameworks and APIs, including UIKit, AppKit, Core Data, and Core Animation.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
Excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to debug and resolve complex technical challenges.
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Enthusiasm for staying current with the latest advancements in macOS development and related technologies, coupled with a drive to innovate within the team.

Nice to have Skills:

Experience with WebRTC integration and video processing within macOS applications.
Familiarity with macOS security best practices and encryption technologies.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary will be based on experience with a target of $170,000-$190,000.
