Our client is an industry leading non-profit organization that has been around for 150 years and they are the most trusted name for breed, health and training information for dogs. They are looking to hire a Full Stack PHP Engineer based in NYC on a contract to hire basis.  
 
Job Title: Full Stack PHP Engineer 
 
Location:  Midtown Manhattan – they are currently working on a hybrid schedule of 3 days/week in office and 2 days/week remotely, this is their plan for the foreseeable future
 
Required Technology and Skills:
  • PHP 
  • Experience with commonly used PHP/MVC frameworks (ideally Laravel)

Hourly Rate/Compensation: Contract to hire 
  • Up to $50 / hour for the duration of the contract  
  • Full-time conversion in the $90,000 range

Additional Information:   
Our client is seeking a proven, reliable, and motivated Full Stack PHP Engineer, someone who has at least 2 years of professional experience working with PHP and MVC frameworks and is looking to work on new feature development in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. The day to day is mostly new development over maintenance including developing and implementing new features, this person will also work on our client’s marketplace which is built in PHP / Laravel. The team this person will be on supports the marketing department for the entire organization so there will also be a component dealing with SEO requests and optimization using Elasticsearch. Candidates must be problem solvers capable of adapting quickly and working in a fast paced, modern tech environment, if you love working with and learning new tech than this is the role for you!
