The Job
Talener is hiring a Relationship Manager for Technical Recruiting and Sales. This is an entry- level position located in New York City or Boston. You must be able to work on-site in NYC or Boston to be considered for this job.
We will be training you from the ground-up. This position is set up to develop your skills at every stage of the business cycle. You will begin by learning how to recruit for technical talent. Once you have mastered this skill, you will begin account management and delivery. Finally, you will move into a full-desk position where you will be ready to take on all aspects of the recruitment life cycle – including business development.  
This is a sales-based position. Our goal is to provide the best opportunity for our candidates while simultaneously delivering results to our clients. To reach these goals, you will need to bring in new clients, manage existing relationships, and interface successfully with technical talent who are in high demand. 
Core Competencies & Experience
  • Completed a four-year college degree or equivalent sales experience
  • Proven interest in sales and account delivery through previous internships or job experience
  • You encounter challenges with confidence and a problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to interface with clients and candidates on a daily basis
  • Excellent communication skills: email, on the phone, in-person, and via video meetings
  • The desire to learn and continually improve yourself in order to meet individual and company-wide goals
  • You have a numbers’ driven mindset
  • Competencies in networking and social posting (i.e. LinkedIn)
  • Detail-oriented: you understand the importance of inputting and maintaining information into our ATS in order to build a robust, meaningful database
The Offer
  • Base Salary: $50,000-$60,000, based on experience
