Senior IT Project Manager – Consulting/City Government

Our client is a rapidly growing IT Services Firm with expertise in Project Management, QA, and Data & Analytics. They are the go-to IT Service firm for various New York City government agencies such as NYC Department of Technology and Innovations, 311, Mayor’s Office, and more. They specialize in mission-critical initiatives and help the city better leverage technology to enable their services. 

 
Job Title:  Project Manger
 

Job Type: Contract to Perm
 

Location:  100% Remote, ET Hours. Must be in US and eligible to work for any US Employer. No sponsorship or C2C arrangements can be provided at this time. 
 

Required Technology and Skills:
 
  • 5+ years of professional experience in IT Project Management 
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, with expertise in Enterprise systems, Infrastructure, etc. 
  • Consulting experience with firms like Accenture, Deloitte, KPMG, Anderson, PWC and McKinsey
  • Government/NYC agency experience
  • Ability to work independently and own projects; resource management, gathering requirements, communicating with and managing stakeholders, documentation, etc.
  • hands-on experience leading client meetings and creating client meetings
  • Strong skills with Microsoft Suite, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Experience with Visio/Lucid or other workflow tools
  • Experience with Salesforce, Workday, or similar systems
 
Additional Skills: 
 
  • Comfort or experience working in a fast-paced start-up environment
  • Experience working on mission-critical / high-pressure projects
  • Experience with strategy, RFP process, user journey mapping
 
 
Rate: $50 – $65/hour W2
