We are focused on a confidential search for our client to help identify a Senior Project Manager responsible for managing all IT Infrastructure and operations for their business. Our client is headquartered in New York, has over 250 employees with various satellite locations throughout the U.S. This job will be a full-time permanent position with our client. And as the recruiting process advances, we will provide specific data on the client’s business and industry. Candidates must currently live in the New York City metro area and can be onsite 3x per week in Manhattan to be considered. Additionally, be able to travel 10% out of state to satellite locations.

Job Title: Senior Project Manager – IT Infrastructure

Location: New York, NY (3x per week onsite is required)

Job Requirements/Experience:

8-10 years of experience as a Project Manager focused on IT and Infrastructure projects.
Experience managing vendors and third parties providing Hardware, Software and Support Services.
Specific vendor management focuses on PC and MAC technical support, systems engineering, A/V and cyber security.
The candidate will have extensive experience managing all Software & Hardware Contracts, Service Providers, Consultants, SLA and Consulting Resources.
Experience managing through crises, outages, upgrades
Experience prioritizing projects, from inception, to planning, to implementation.
Excellent communication skills to work with executive leadership on planning, implementation and escalation.
Proven experiences creating models and/or manuals for best practices and procedures to be used across the organization.
Complete RFPs for evaluating service providers
Work closely with MSP’s and vendors to ensure efficiency and quality of work and support.
First-hand experience working in a dual PC – Microsoft 365 and Mac / iOS environment.
Experiencing using a ticketing system for troubleshooting, escalating and managing IT support
Proven track record of delegating technical tasks and communicating IT upgrades and changes in advance to staff and remote locations.
PMP certification or equivalent 4-year and/or master’s degree
Prior work history supporting mid-size businesses with multiple locations.
Desire to own projects, process and a proactive approach to setting priorities and delegating responsibilities to vendor partners.

Compensation: The target base salary is $160,000 – $175,000 with flexibility based on experience.
