Our client is a global leader in the industrial IoT space. This group provides cloud-based and AI-driven solutions to help manufacturers monitor their industrial equipment to help improve efficiency and be able to predict and avoid down time for maintenance. Their clients are primarily major manufacturers in a variety of sectors (packaging, food & beverage, automotive, industrial, etc.).

Job Title: Senior Software Engineer (Java)

Location: Montreal, QC (2-3x per week in the office)

Required Technology and Skills:

10+ years of professional software engineering experience
Must have a strong full stack engineering skillset, primarily leveraging Java
Previous experience leading, mentoring, or managing a small team of engineers is required
Must have experience leading major technical projects while fully understanding the business side
Must have experience with REST APIs
Must have experience with SQL

Additional Skills:

Experience with Angular is a plus
Experience with C++ is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or other related field, is a plus
QA, Unit Testing, Test Driven Development (TDD), etc. experience is a plus
IoT or SaaS experience is highly preferred

Hourly Rate/Compensation: $135,000.00-$165,000.00 CAD, depending on experience
