Our client is a hardware/software startup that provides the most energy-efficient, smart displays.  Their products are used by leading brands in retail, entertainment, food & beverage, large enterprises, hospitality, and a variety of other groups around the world.  Their hardware products are paired with a cloud-hosted, custom CMS to offer an industry-leading solution. 
 
Job Title:  SVP of Finance & Corporate Development
 
Location:  New York, New York (Hybrid)
 
Required Technology and Skills:
  • Must have 10+ years of total finance/accounting experience
  • Previous experience working for a private equity/venture capital firm is required
  • Must have prior experience working for a startup, ideally one that leverages both hardware and software
  • Experience with fundraising, capital structure, and M&A is required
  • Candidates should have a demonstrated track record of building high-performing teams and scaling an organization
  • Must have strong leadership skills with an entrepreneurial mindset, serving as a strategic business partner 
 
Additional Skills: 
  • Master’s degree in finance, business, or related field is a plus
 
Compensation:  Competitive base salary range of $225,000-275,000
