Our client is a rapidly growing software start-up. Their B2B/B2B2C software is used by sports and athletic facilities to manage their day-to-day operations, registrations, bookings, payments, customer management, and more. They are seeking a strong mid-level QA Engineer to work closely with product and engineering to ensure quality and reliability across their SaaS product, while helping build the foundation through manual and automated testing.
Job Title: QA Automation Engineer
Location: Office in mid-town Manhattan. Candidates must be local to the NYC metro area and comfortable working onsite 3x per week. Must be eligible to work for any US employer. No sponsorship or C2C can be offered at this time.
Required Technology and Skills:
- 2-5 years professional experience in QA Engineering and automation
- Experience working with both manual testing and automation
- Experience building automation frameworks and increasing use of automation in your QA environment
- Hands-on experience with Playwright
- Hands-on experience with JavaScript and Typescript
- Experience contributing to root-cause analysis and support
- Experience using AI tools to accelerate your QA workflows
- Self-starter who takes initiative and can work autonomously with minimal direction
- Strong communication skills and highly motivated to continue learning
Additional Skills:
- Degree in IT, Computer Science or STEM related field
- Experience working in start-up SaaS environment
- Experience on a small team or as 1st QA hire
- Experience with Typescript, JavaScript, and Playwright
Salary Range: 85,000 – 110,000 base salary (Based on experience), plus 10% annual cash bonus (based on performance) and equity package
